Air-Rail Link, Birmingham, UK

The Birmingham Air-Rail Link is a modern and reliable cable car system that connects a rail line to the Birmingham Airport. By directly linking to the existing public transit system travelers can leave their cars at home. And many do -- the systems moves 3 million passengers per year.

DCC was able to use an existing infrastructure from a small MagLev system, which was replaced by AirRail link. This was the first DCC system located at an airport.

This project was realized with project development by Tino Imhäuser as a part of DCC.
