IGA Rostock, Germany
Described as the “green world exhibition by the sea”, the International Gardening & Horticulture Exhibition (IGA) opened in Rostock, Germany in 2003. The Rostock cable car was designed with special panoramic windows to allow passengers view the gardens below. The triangular route allowed visitors to move from one location to the next complete a loop. During the 6 month long event the system moved over 2 million riders.
This project was realized with project development and management by Tino Imhäuser as a part of Doppelmayr.
